Yes. More than ever, actually — especially since Covid. And they’re now called travel advisors.
When we started planning a family trip to Egypt for 12 people — my mom, sisters, and their families — I decided to reach out to a few travel agents. And that’s when the 💡 lightbulb went off. I realized I had friends who had recently become travel advisors. Others who used them regularly. The more I learned, the more intrigued I became. How does this business actually work?
Turns out — this isn’t the old-school travel agency model anymore. Post-Covid, the travel industry has evolved. Travel advisors now have access to powerful tools that plug directly into platforms like Expedia — without the retail markups. That means I can often offer better pricing and more personalized service than the big booking sites — plus real human support.
This was something modern, exciting, and flexible.
